Who is eligible for Rising Stars?

• To be eligible to be nominated for this honor, your rising star must be currently employed in institutional investing, have less than 10 years of experience in the industry and demonstrate a measurable effect and results within the workplace and within the industry.  Executives across the institutional investment industry are eligible (allocators, asset managers, consultants, service providers, etc.) across various roles.

What does the entry form require?

• The entry form requires that you answer six (6) basic questions and submit three (3) brief 100-word write-ups capturing the nominee's standout attributes, industry impact and future leadership potential. 
  • What are some of the standout attributes of your candidate and reasons you consider this person a Rising Star? (100 words maximum)
  • What has been her/his biggest impact on the industry, the team or the organization thus far? (100 words maximum)
  • Why do you believe this is a future leader? (100 words maximum)
• You will also be asked to upload a candidate picture

Is there a fee to enter?

• No, there is no fee to enter.

Do you accept nominations from anywhere in the world?

• Yes. Nominees from accross the globe are welcome to enter; all entries must be made in English.

Can I mark something confidential or for judging purposes only?

• No. Anything included in an entry should be considered as public information. There’s no space for explicitly confidential information, and we ask entrants to anticipate that anything in their entry could become public and used to inform, or include in, the winner's profile.

When is the deadline for entering?

• The deadline for all entries is Saturday, August 30th, 2025.

Can I nominate more than one candidate?

• Asset allocators/plan sponsors/pension funds can nominate multiple candidates per organisation.
• Unfortunately, for all other organisations only one nomination per firm will be accepted.

Can I edit my entry after I submit?

• Unfortunately, once you have submitted your entry, you will not be able to log in to edit the form in any way. If there is factual information that is incorrect, please contact Mirjam Guldemond on the awards team to request a change at mguldemond@pionline.com.
  
  Please note changes cannot be made once the final deadline has passed and judging has started.

Can I save my entry and complete it at a later date?

• Yes! At any time prior to the deadline you may save your nomination and come back to it.  As long as you don't hit 'submit.'

When and how will Rising Stars be announced?

• Winners will be notified in September and will be publicly unveiled in the October edition of Pensions & Investments 
• During the P&I WorldPensionSummit, 4-6 November at the Louwman Museum in The Hague, the top 10 Rising Stars will be announced and honoured.
